Frequently Asked Questions

The Eaton fire is 100 percent contained as of Friday, January 31, 2025. There are no travel restrictions for visitors at this time. Meeting groups can enjoy all our unique offerings with peace of mind.

Yes. Attendees can fly into Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and other nearby airports like Long Beach Airport (LBG) and Ontario Intl. Airport (ONT), all of which are currently open and operating.

Public transportation in Pasadena remains operational and unaffected by recent fires. Whether you’re exploring the city or traveling to other parts of Los Angeles County, the LA Metro A Line and Pasadena Transit provide seamless, dependable service.

The majority of Pasadena’s main attractions are open including Old Pasadena, Rose Bowl Stadium, Norton Simon Museum, Pasadena Playhouse, Ice House Comedy Club, and The Huntington. Eaton Canyon and the Angeles National Forest remain closed to the public and require a permit to access. During this time, we urge our partners and visitors to travel responsibly and respectfully by avoiding impacted areas in Altadena.

Absolutely. The Pasadena Convention Center is open and hosting meetings and events of various sizes.

Air quality across much of Los Angeles County has been generally stable, with many areas, including Pasadena, reporting “good” conditions according to the Air Quality Index. However, air quality can vary by location and change daily. You can stay up to date on our air quality and weather forecasts with the latest information from AirNow.gov and the National Weather Service.
